At Lotus Garden you will find a welcoming and non-intimidating environment to begin or continue your practice. Our teachers and students are warm and friendly and we have many classes that are suitable for beginners, or for bodies needing an extra gentle practice. Experienced students will appreciate the knowledge and expertise of our instructors and the opportunity to deepen and evolve their personal practice.

Helpful info for first-timers:

Bring your own yoga mat and water bottle

It also helpful, but optional, to bring 2 foam yoga blocks.

Arrive about 10-15 min early

Please do not wear fragrances or scented lotions in the studio.

Our studio is kept at a comfortable temperature. We do not practice "hot yoga".

Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in.

Yoga is typically done barefoot. We ask that shoes not be worn in the studio. If you need to wear shoes for whatever reason, please bring indoor shoes if possible.

It's ideal to practice yoga on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour after a meal).

Always remember to be observant to and respectful of your own bodies limits. Never stay in a pose that does not feel right for your body.​
